Karim is the founder and co-director of the Laboratory for Innovation Science at Harvard, the principal investigator of the NASA Tournament Laboratory at the Harvard Institute for Quantitative Social Science, and the faculty co-founder of the Harvard Business School Digital Initiative. He specializes in technology management and innovation.

Marco Iansiti

David Sarnoff Professor of Business Administration

Marco Iansiti is a codirector of the Laboratory for Information Science at Harvard and of the Digital Initiative at Harvard Business School. His research on digital transformation of companies and industries, with a special focus on digital ecosystems, AI-centric operating models, and the impact of AI and network effects on strategy and business models and his writings on these subjects made HBR’s list of top ten articles of the year for three of the last four years.
